LIGHTSHIP SESSION

AR Revolution: Designing User-Centric Experience

For a Community Brown Bag Session, I gave a second talk on User Experience for AR games to the external developer community associated to Niantic. I talked about the experience of designing for Peridot post-global launch.

Peridot and Lightship AR

At AWE, I along with 2 of my other colleagues gave a talk on how the Peridot team uses Lightship, Niantic's AR development platform. I specifically talked about how I design for AR utilizing the tools Lightship provides, as well design thinking when it comes to designing for AR.

For a Community Brown Bag Session, I gave a talk on User Experience in regards to AR to the external developer community associated to Niantic. I provided some tips and considerations when designing for AR and how to make AR usable and understandable to users. 

PERIDOT LAUNCH

Japan Press Release Inteview

For the launch of Peridot, I went to Tokyo to give a Press Release presentation for Japanese news outlets. At the press release, we gave a presentation and demo on the game a few weeks before launch.

LIGHTSHIP SUMMIT TOKYO 2022

Niantic UXと開発

Lightship Summit was a conference for Niantic's global community of AR developers. For the Lightship Summit in Tokyo, I was invited along with 3 other designers/engineer on UX at Niantic. I specifically talked about my learnings and knowledge of designing for AR and the UX considerations needed.
